This is the first visit to the property after the purchase. We had bought the property in March 2017, and this was our first time back May 9 2017. Marisca came here a few days before I arrived, and thought, what have we done. The pictures below show us what we did!

“During our trip from Nova Scotia to Ontario we made a stopover of 6 nights in Dorchester. The bed and breakfast of Marisca and Jeff has everything for a perfect stay to relax but also to undertake activities. They have a beautiful large historic house which has been restored with preservation of authentic details and a large piece of land behind it.
The bedrooms are large, nicely decorated and clean. They all have a luxurious bathroom with rain shower and separate bath. The bathroom and bedroom are heated separately by electric heating and the bathroom has underfloor heating.
In the room is a nice seat where you can relax. The space between the rooms is large so you do not hear any sounds from the other bedrooms. A nice seat has also been created in the interspace.
The house is in a nice place. From the roof deck you can really enjoy the beautiful view over the fields and forests. Especially in autumn, the colors of the trees are exceptionally beautiful. Here you can completely relax.
Marisca provides in her beautiful kitchen with Aga cooker a perfect breakfast with many options. She and Jeff make sure that you really feel at home. Nothing is too much for them to please you.
Dorchester is a good basis for doing a lot. The distance to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia is easy to do. Nearby is the red beach with the small hummingbirds and the tide difference. Rockport Rocks is beautiful but also the towns of Sackville and Moncton are nearby. And the most beautiful thing is the natural wonder Hopewell Rocks where the tidal difference of the Fundy bay is 16 meters.
All in all highly recommended!”
